Read a fight: position, target and escape route

J0EI TV’s Abyss Ranger footage adds a player’s view of PvP. It illustrates combat, not the rules of every Abyss mode or a global balance ranking.

What to look for

  • Follow where the player stands before engaging and where they retreat afterwards.
  • Distinguish target selection from raw damage; gear and patch differences affect the result.
  • Chaotic Abyss, Spacetime Rift and Battlefield: Siege are different published systems.

Which PvP mode does a clip show?

Match the mode and patch before applying a video’s advice. NC’s March and July 2026 notices below describe the Korean service; they do not confirm every mode for global launch. The capped Upper Reshanta mode should not be confused with the three-zone Siege mode.

Korea-service PvP distinctions
ModePublished rule
Chaotic AbyssMarch: West/East server forces rather than race factions
Spacetime RiftMarch: race-based matchmaking continues
Chaotic Upper ReshantaJuly: item-level and combat-power caps; no bosses or artifacts
Battlefield: SiegeJuly: capture three zones for points; identical starting conditions

Published PvP systems

NC’s March update introduced Chaotic Abyss as a faction-based system using West and East server forces, while stating that Spacetime Rift would continue with race-based matchmaking. That update also says PvP and PvE damage calculations were separated as part of its balance changes.

The July Chapter 1 update adds Chaotic Upper Reshanta and Battlefield: Siege to its Korea-service update notes. It describes Battlefield: Siege as a mode in which teams capture three zones for points under identical starting conditions.

  • Chaotic Abyss and Spacetime Rift are named in the March NC update.
  • Chaotic Upper Reshanta and Battlefield: Siege are named in the July NC update.
  • The cited updates are not a region-by-region global availability calendar.

Check the live notice for your service

Mode names alone do not settle entry requirements, scheduling, rewards, matchmaking rules, or service availability. Check the newest official announcement for the region and client you intend to use before planning around a specific PvP activity.

The collected official sources do not publish a permanent best-class order for PvP. Use published role information to compare play styles, and treat dated community tier lists as opinions rather than a verified balance verdict.

Choose what you want to learn in your next match

For a first session, choose one learning goal rather than judging the entire class from a win or loss. The suggestions below are our practice framework, not official winning tactics or a tested build.

In Siege, review whether your decisions helped the team contest zones instead of looking only at personal kills. For Upper Reshanta, check the mode’s cap rules before comparing a build demonstration with uncapped combat. A cap is not proof that every equipment effect or character choice is identical.

For Chaotic Abyss or Spacetime Rift, identify the side you are joining before following a guide that calls everyone of another race an enemy. Their published faction arrangements differ. Match the guide’s service and patch as well as its mode name.

  • Pick a role to practise: approaching the objective, staying with allies, protecting a teammate, or finding a safe moment to disengage.
  • After a defeat, separate positioning, resource use and equipment questions. Changing several things at once makes it harder to identify what helped.
  • Compare the role and skill showcase of your class before copying a hotbar. An animation highlight does not provide a complete rotation.

Why a PvE build video may not answer your PvP question

NC’s 25 March 2026 balance notice separated PvP and PvE damage calculations and introduced Perfect Shield Block and Perfect Parry. The same notice restricts consecutive Immune and Immortal effects within a 30-second window. That is a dated balance rule, not a universal 30-second cooldown for every defensive skill.

For a reusable match note, write down service, patch date, mode, class, equipment and the specific encounter that caused trouble. Add the skill tooltip or a short timestamped clip. This is more useful than asking for the best class without describing the fight.

Check today’s client and local patch notes before treating these historical announcements as current numerical rules. The sources linked below do not provide a complete skill coefficient table, queue timetable or reward schedule.

Player perspective · supplied material

Use player experience as context, not as a system rule

The supplied player material describes one player’s Taiwan-service experience and connects the feel of PvP with time and gear progression. It is useful context for why players ask about progression and purchases, but it does not define the rules for every service.

This perspective does not establish item statistics, matchmaking behavior, purchase terms, or a factual pay-to-win conclusion. Check a dated official update before treating any of those details as confirmed.
