Start with the AION 2 service and platform you intend to play, then choose a class and check its controls. If you are leveling in Taiwan, do not decide whether to claim dungeon rewards from level 45 alone: the service raised its level cap to 50 and changed dungeon limits on July 1, 2026. Compare the reward, Od Energy cost and remaining unclaimed-reward allowance before leaving.

Founder items and Twitch rewards follow different entitlement and linking rules.
Find the documented exit and separate entry requirements from reward blockers.
Read transfer eligibility, storage and slot checks; then compare your symptom with current notices.
Use the official PC Steam listing for storefront availability, language support, and system requirements. For Korea-service platform and input topics, use the official Guidebook entry that matches the client you are actually using.
This avoids copying instructions between services that can have different platform access, timing, controls, or storefront terms.
The official Taiwan Expedition Guidebook places the “Leave Dungeon” button (離開副本) to the left of the minimap after entering an Expedition. Use that control when you want to stop the run. The waiting-room Leave control leaves the party; cancelling the reward panel only closes that panel.
Before leaving a completed run without its reward, check your remaining unclaimed-clear allowance. It is separate from energy. This button location is documented for Taiwan, not verified for the global Steam / PURPLE client. Source reread October 11, 2026; the page footer lists August 26, 2026.
Read the selected dungeon’s entry conditions and reward preview. The Taiwan guide separates level, item level, minimum participants and mode unlocks. Adventure must be cleared before Conquest unlocks. A full guaranteed-reward meter requires collecting that reward before another entry.
| Symptom | Check |
|---|---|
| Cannot enter | Entry level, item level, participant minimum, mode unlock and remaining unclaimed-clear allowance |
| Guaranteed reward is full | Collect the guaranteed reward before entering again |
| Final-boss reward cannot be claimed | Enough Od Energy and the displayed contribution requirement |
| Want to close the reward panel | Cancel closes the panel; it is not the dungeon-exit control |
For Expedition, Transcendence and Sanctuary, the guide describes a 10-minute reconnection window. Reconnecting within that window into the same party or raid’s dungeon room avoids a count deduction. This is an unexpected-disconnection rule; it does not promise a refund after voluntarily leaving.
Use the existing reward checklist below to decide whether to spend energy. If the live client differs, check newer Taiwan patch notices before repeating a run.
NC’s global Launch FAQ says controller play is possible but is not officially supported. Official platform support is Steam or PURPLE on Windows PC. This is different from the Korea-service controller beta and is not a guarantee for Steam Deck, Linux or a particular gamepad.
Keep keyboard and mouse available while checking movement, targeting, combat and menus. The Controller Support guide in the related guides below separates global status from the Korean beta reference. Source rechecked October 11, 2026.
The global Steam listing, rechecked October 11, 2026, describes solo challenges, five-player party content and ten-player group dungeons. These are the storefront’s current format descriptions; they do not establish the player limit or reward rules of every individual instance.
That establishes the kind of content the project is presenting. It is not a verified step-by-step leveling plan, build guide, or exact boss walkthrough for every service.
For the Taiwan service, level 45 alone is not enough to make that decision. The official July 1, 2026 update raised the level cap to 50. Advice written around a level-45 endgame needs its service and patch checked before you follow it. This does not mean every leveling reward is worth claiming.
Taiwan’s Expedition Guidebook, with an August 26 page footer, says claiming the final-boss reward uses Od Energy (奧德能量). If you do not have enough, you cannot claim it until energy is replenished or you use a refill item. Check the cost for the exact dungeon and difficulty, rather than assuming one cost applies to every run.
The Expedition Guidebook was reread October 11, 2026; the dated update references below were checked September 11, 2026. They do not establish the rules for a Global launch character. The official Taiwan Guidebook and dated updates are linked in the sources below.
The July 1 Taiwan update removed the old Expedition and Transcendence reward-count and final-boss kill-count restrictions. It also describes a separate limit for clearing a dungeon and leaving without claiming the reward. That allowance resets weekly and is shared by characters on the same server; at zero, you cannot enter Expedition or Transcendence.
Do not confuse this allowance with your Od Energy balance or the old challenge tickets. Skipping a reward can preserve energy, but it does not give you unlimited unclaimed clears. The Taiwan Expedition Guidebook also says claiming rewards builds guaranteed-reward progress, which belongs in your comparison.
Use the following checklist to compare the reward available now with the later reward you intend to spend energy on. It is a decision aid, not a tested fastest-leveling route.
Reward value can change between patches. Taiwan’s September 9 update changed the tradeability of specified dragon crafting materials in Expedition and Sanctuary energy rewards. Check the current reward preview before relying on an older farming estimate.
| Check | What to compare |
|---|---|
| Service and patch | Match the advice to your Taiwan, Korea or Global client. |
| Dungeon and difficulty | Read the displayed energy cost and reward preview for this run. |
| Current equipment | Compare possible upgrades with what you need to continue progressing. |
| Guaranteed reward | Include progress toward a guaranteed reward, not just the random drop. |
| Unclaimed-reward allowance | Check the remaining allowance before leaving without claiming. |
| Refill items | Read the refill amount and expiry information on the item you actually hold. |
First, confirm the correct official service and storefront. Next, check your platform requirements and current launch or access status. Finally, pick a class from the official roster based on its published role rather than an unsupported tier claim.
When a game system is not yet documented in the official record, leave its mechanics and rewards open. That is more useful than filling a beginner page with invented steps that may be wrong on launch.
