NC’s March class-overhaul update names Supporting Fire as a new Stigma skill for Ranger. The announcement does not publish a class tier ranking or a full skill guide.
Distance management or close-range commitment?
Start with this class if…
Ranger’s ranged identity is a starting point for players who like choosing a firing position. Watch the space between character and target, then ask how comfortable you are when that space disappears. Ranged combat is not a promise of safety.
Compare the alternative
Assassin reverses that preference: compare its approach and close-range presentation if you would rather pursue a target than preserve distance. Use footage from the same service and patch before comparing practical performance.
