NC’s March class-overhaul update names Hibernation as a new Stigma skill for Sorcerer. The announcement does not publish a class tier ranking or a full skill guide.
Direct magic or fighting alongside spirits?
Start with this class if…
Start with Sorcerer if you want the caster’s own spell presentation to be the focus. Follow individual casts and their visible effects rather than reading large visual effects as evidence of higher damage. The official identity establishes explosive magic, not a best rotation.
Compare the alternative
Elementalist is the comparison when sharing the scene with elemental spirits is more appealing. Look at how the character and spirit act together. Do not assume summons automate the whole encounter or that either magic class always wins a damage comparison.
